not standing still

people comment, fairly often, on the fact that i don't stand still for very long.  it is true-- i am more or less always moving.  in my space-- both at home and at the shop-- i am fairly constantly thinking about how things are working and what will work better.  it means that there can be a fairly constant state of change happening-- furniture moving around, products being re-arranged.  my carpenter rolls his eyes when i tell him that THIS is finally the way things are going to stay--  because he knows that it is only a matter of time before i call him with a new idea that i am hoping he will implement.

some people move into a space, get their furniture arranged, and then do not think about it ever again.  i, on the other hand, am something of a whirling dervish.

hard to live with?  probably.  fun to watch?  i hope so.
