hans wegner 'wishbone' chair

as i have established, i have a thing about chairs.  i can rarely pass by a good chair without (at the very least) sitting in it.  this chair-- the 'wishbone chair' by hans wegner, designed in about 1950-- may well be my very favorite chair of the moment.  comfortable, beautiful-- and yet, as was wegner's intention-- simple, simple, simple.  wegner believed in stripping the chair back to its basics-- its structure, its bones-- and this chair proves that the bones are beautiful just as they are.
